Individual counseling for adults in Hillsboro, Oregon and online throughout Oregon
You are allowed to ask for help
Being the person your family and friends rely on for support can be exhausting! You’ve gotten used to putting others first, but what do you do when you’re feeling overwhelmed and burned out? As a helper, you usually feel guilty about taking time for yourself.
You feel like you should be able to figure things out by yourself. But your usual ways of coping don’t seem to be working right now. You’ve heard counseling can be helpful, but opening up to someone new is hard.
You are allowed to take up space
Individual counseling is your place to tell your story without judgment. You can share how you’re really feeling about the people in your life, without worrying about hurting anyone’s feelings. You also don’t have to feel like you are burdening your friends or family by talking about your problems. I am here to listen and support you.
Welcome!
Hi, I’m Camille. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon who specializes in working with people-pleasers, family caregivers, and helping professionals. During the past 15 years I have provided support for clients in crisis in a walk-in mental health clinic, through an employee assistance program, and now in my private practice. Over the years I have developed my own self-care practices, and I look forward to helping you develop practices that are meaningful for you.

Compassionate. Engaged. Collaborative.
I do more than just listen. You may have seen the stereotype of a counselor who listens and takes notes, while the client does most of the talking. While I may take notes during your sessions, I also actively ask questions inviting you to go deeper into your thoughts and feelings. My clients often say they appreciate the questions I ask, helping them to pause and consider a new perspective. I often provide information about anxiety, depression, or trauma to help you better understand your experiences.
Compassion and respect are the core values that guide my work. I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable showing up as your full, authentic self.
